| Our acceptance of your booking places responsibility upon you to have read the Terms and Conditions and payment of your deposit indicates full acceptance of those Terms and Conditions. |
| All damage to property and person(s) during your stay will be your full responsibility and we advise you to ensure that you have adequate insurance in place. |
| Gîte guests are expected to fully clean the accommodation on the morning of departure, leaving it in the condition it was handed over to them and leaving any rubbish in sealed bags and the used bed linen stripped and left in the shower enclosure. If an additional clean is necessary your deposit will be debited a sum of 40-50 Euros depending on the condition you leave it in. Cleaning materials and equipment are provided with the accommodation. |
| Please inform the owner of known breakages, damages or losses as they occur or upon departure so that they can be agreed before you leave. All damages must be paid for, failing which legal proceedings will be taken. |
| Payment in Euros. Cash preferred. Sterling cheque accepted for deposit/advance payment. Facility to receive credit/debit card payments via PayPal. |
| Payments made in Sterling against prices quoted in Euros will be calculated at the rate of exchange available at UK high street bank at the time of payment. Thus deposits paid in advance will be at the rate on date paid, not at the rate on date of occupation. |
| 30% deposit payable on confirmation of reservation; balance 6 weeks before arrival date; or total payable immediately upon reservation if reservation is made within 6 weeks of date of visit. |
| Pets welcome subject to prior arrangement. Pets are entirely the responsibility of their owners and must be kept fully controlled at all times and be fully insured. |
| If you have to cancel at any time, I will obviously try to rebook your slot. If I can’t rebook it you are liable for the whole cost. If I am successful in replacing you, you only forfeit a small administration fee of 10% of the cost of your booking to cover my time spent finding a replacement for you. If you offer a replacement yourself at the time of cancellation there will be no admin charge. |
